5 IFM Optics Mount

6 IFM Imaging Procedure Place whipple grid on sample holder.
Image 5 um square at a corner with IFM. Remove IFM head and replace with optical head. Place optical reticle on 5 um square corner Replace positioning reticle with sample.

7 IFM Imaging Procedure Move the sample to the desired testing location.
Remove optical head and replace with IFM head. Image sample or begin force/creep profile.

8 Tip Placement Apparatus
Z-stage X-Y Stage

9 Tip Placement Apparatus

10 Tip Placement Procedure
Place sensor on X-Y stage. Place tip in forceps and connect to z-stage. Carefully apply epoxy to tip base and desired sensor position. Move tip into contact with the sensor. Turn on cartridge heater. (Not pictured)
