1. Starter On page 9 of your book answer the following questions.
What is the meaning behind the symbol you are putting on your sheet metal?
What color will you use for your back piece and how does it relate to your symbol?
Draw your symbol below.

3. Agenda for today Review what we did last time.
Hand out boxes and add names.
Demonstration on how to stamp & drill your sheet metal.
Check off putting in saw blade and safety test if you have not.
Designs are due on sheet metal and beginning to cut today.
If you do not have the sheet metal with a design on it by the end of class today you will need to come after school next week to get caught up.

4. Last time We saw the lab and learned how to cut sheet metal.
Many of you got your designs done and cut out, but no metal was distributed.
We than checked off putting in a saw blade.
If you were not here last time or didn’t get your saw blade checked off you will need to get caught up today.

5. What should you be doing?
You should be cutting out your design from the paper and gluing it to the sheet metal.
Once done you should begin sawing your sheet metal.

6. Clean up…
Make sure you are putting all supplies away where they belong.
None of the supplies belong in your box.
Make sure you throw away broken saw blades.
Last time a students left supplies out, boxes out, sketch books out, and papers.
If this happens again I will have to have us all spend a class period learning to clean properly than clean the entire class room.
Please clean up and put things away where they belong every time.
