9 iPad Procedure At the beginning of class During class
Hand me your student ID or write your name down During class If you have to leave the class to go to the restroom or office, return the iPad to me. Do not leave your iPad unattended at your desk At the end of class Close out the class websites Return the iPad and receive your school ID back

10 Next is a big list of “Do Not’s”

11 iPads Rules These are all logical appropriate rules for the use of school iPads but I will spell it out, so there are no misunderstandings: Do not download anything on the iPad Do not play games on the iPad. Do not load a VPN app. Do not use the camera or screenshot function Do not change any of the settings Do not go to any websites except those used for this class Do not scratch the surface of the iPad Do not take off the iPad cover

12 iPads If you find anything on the iPad that does not comply with these rules please show it to me right away. If you do not, you could be held responsible. Sounds a little stressful, but as long as you are here to work on academics and are serious about passing this class, you will have no problems.

13 Restroom Use the restroom before class
If you must use the restroom do it before the PowerPoint lecture begins or wait until it is over Ask and receive permission before you leave Limit using the restroom to once a week during this period (not a daily habit of leaving class) If you come to class late, you may not leave for a drink or the restroom during class.

14 Questions? Ask Mrs. DeVault anytime you need help or clarification
You may text me at (951) (school cell phone) I will be available by text until 6:00pm each night. Again, text message only I am at school from 10:30am until 4:30pm.
