3 FIGURE 2 Detailed analysis of follicular development for the three study groups. The number of large-sized follicles did not differ significantly among the groups, although the SD protocol receiving 3 mg cetrorelix did reveal the lowest number of medium (P=.012 for F-test, P=.003 for t-test between SD and LP) and small (P=.026 for F-test, P=.007 for t-test between SD and LP) follicles. 4 FIGURE 3 The dynamic change in mean serum LH levels for the three study groups. The patients from the LP group exhibited the lowest mean serum LH level on the day prior to stimulation with hMG (P=.018 for t-test between MD and LP, P=.039 for t-test between SD and LP). The patients from the SD group demonstrated the greatest mean serum LH level on day 5 of stimulation with hMG (P=.001 for t-test between MD and SD groups, P=.005 for t-test between SD and LP groups). The mean serum LH level dropped immediately subsequent to the administration of 3 mg cetrorelix. Lee. Follicular growth after GnRH-antagonist. Fertil Steril 2005. 5 FIGURE 4 The dynamic change in mean serum E2 levels for the three study groups. The patients from the SD group revealed lower levels of serum E2 than the LP group (P=.037 for t-test). The mean serum E2 level remained static following the injection of 3 mg cetrorelix. Lee. Follicular growth after GnRH-antagonist. Fertil Steril 2005.
