WHAT IS GOD’S WORD?
The Word of God is a book containing all the sweet thoughts of God and promises of God for us.

4. WHAT DOES “SET FREE” MEAN?
This means that we are no longer held bound (down) in pain, suffering or danger.

God’s Word Can Set Me Free simply means that the word of God has the power or ability to release us from any pain, sickness, suffering or danger.

6. WHY IS GOD’S WORD SO STRONG?
1) It can save:
It can touch the heart of a
sinner to become saved.

7. WHY IS GOD’S WORD SO STRONG?
2a) It has the power to
heal us from every disease.
Ps.107:20

2b) It not only heals but has the power to keep us healthy (free from sickness).

3) It can change any difficult situation to
become easy or good.

10. WHY IS GOD’S WORD SO STRONG?
4) It teaches us the right way to live; in fact to live just like God. This, of course, means power.

11. HOW CAN GOD’S WORD SET ME FREE?
When you KNOW or UNDERSTAND
What your Bible says then you will be set free by God’s Word.

12. HOW TO KNOW GOD’S WORD AND BE FREE
a) Feed on it:
This can be done by hearing and reading it daily.

b) Believe it:
Never
doubt what it says.
When you believe it, it works for you; but if you doubt, it won't work.

c) Think about what it says:
This is called meditation. When you do this, you will have better understanding of God’s word.

Do this every day. e.g. " Let the weak say, ‘I am strong."
(Joel 3:10b)
When you feel weak, say ‘I am strong'
d) Always say what it says: Use your voice to repeat what the word of God says about you or any situation.

One day, our Lord Jesus Christ came to a place called Capernaum. When He got there, an important man came to Him.

The man was a centurion, which means that he was a
soldier in charge of 100 other soldiers. This important man came to ask Jesus for help!

The man had a servant who was very sick. The servant was so sick that he could not move! The centurion thought Jesus could heal his servant. That was why he came.

Jesus said, “I will come and heal him.” But the centurion said, “I’m not good enough to have you come into my house. I know that if you just say that he is healed, my servant will be healed!”

Jesus was amazed at what the man said. He told the people who were following Him, “This man has a lot of faith. I haven’t found any people in all of Israel who believe in me as much as this man does.”

Then, He turned to the centurion and told him to go home. He said, “May it be done for you as you believed!”
At that very moment, the centurion’s sick servant was healed!

24. LESSONS WE CAN LEARN FROM THIS STORY
1. He knew the truth, that the word of God (JESUS) can heal any kind of sickness.
Psalm 107:20
2. He had faith and never doubted that Jesus could heal the sick.

Prayer:
Lord, I thank you for your word today. I thank you because by your word, I am enjoying lasting freedom from every bondage in every area of my life. Amen.
