2. HRP funding
To mobilize the resources Sudan need to generate an updated credible information and data.
Missing or challenging is to find harmonize coordination among donors, multiple donor forums exits;
Comprehensive gap analysis of the funding and programing needs;
Commitment from the government is critical
Development objectives in the HRP and vice versa
Regular coordination high level government and donors;

3. Long term funding
Example of Ethiopia where Resilience was added to the HRP plus others countries have done it better.
Emergency resources are used by development workers
Try to identify single channel for donor alliance (health sector forum chaired by the Minister of Health)
Each month forum discuss the key issues sector level
Strategy for resource to diversify funding sources (mapping of potential funding source , capacity development )
Stimulus to encourage dialogue to not do business as usual
Changing advocacy messaging to maintain emergency funding having more emphasis on development centered funding mechanism

4. Actions for government of Sudan
Reach to large multilateral partners (WB)
Advocacy through prime minister office and also line ministries
Strengthen national nutrition plan to be more development and system focus
Changing the sell pitch to a more development oriented message
