Notice both artist included the earth and sky and in both of these paintings. What different choices did each painter make to distinguish between the earth and sky, land and air—colors, textures, light? What time of day do you think it is? Can anyone point out the horizon?

4 Todays Art Lesson Students must use time wisely, use materials correctly, follow directions for this to turn out correctly. Volunteers will demonstrate color mixing with class. Students will paint their nights sky. Then add a cityscape and lights with construction paper and crayons
