1. Autumn One: Once Upon a Story Reception Autumn Term One Overview
Welcome to a brand new academic year full of inspirational experiences. The year will begin with one of our favourite stories, The Three Billy Goats Gruff. Through storytelling, the children will develop their confidence in speaking clearly and using whole sentences. They will look at feelings, friendships and experiences as they explore and innovate the story. Through story mapping, students will become familiar with the story structure and develop their own changes to the text.
