2 Anthology (English texbook)
Last name, First name. "Title of Essay." Title of Collection, edited by Editor's Name(s), Publisher, Year, Page range of entry. Freedom means so much to so many people. When Thomas Jefferson was alive, freedom meant somehting completely differnet than it does today.

3 History Textbook Author last name, first name. Title of Book. Edition Number. Publisher, Publication Date.

4 Online Article Author last name, first name. “Title of Work.” Title of Overall Website. Version or edition used. Publisher or sponsor of the site. Date of publication (if nothing is available, put n.d.). Medium (Web). Date of access. Web address.

5 Works Cited Page Needs to be alphabetical order (either the author last name or title of work)

6 How to in-text cite your sources
You must always cite your source within the text. The only two times you do not need to cite is if it is common knowledge or your opinion. If you get any idea from a website or other medium, YOU MUST CITE. The colonists oppressed the Native Americans by taking their land (Taking). In the parenthesis, you need to put either the author’s last name or first significant word of the title.
