5 “See what kind of love the Father has given to us, that we should be called children of God; and so we are. The reason why the world does not know us is that it did not know him. 2 Beloved, we are God's children now, and what we will be has not yet appeared; but we know that when He appears we shall be like Him, because we shall see him as He is. 3 And everyone who thus hopes in him purifies himself as He is pure.” 1 John 3:1-3

6 “The true light, which gives light to everyone, was coming into the world. 10 He was in the world, and the world was made through him, yet the world did not know him. 11 He came to his own, and his own people did not receive him. 12 But to all who did receive him, who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God, 13 who were born, not of blood nor of the will of the flesh nor of the will of man, but of God.” John 1:9-13

7 “For it was fitting that he, for whom and by whom all things exist, in bringing many sons to glory, should make the founder of their salvation perfect through suffering. 11 For he who sanctifies and those who are sanctified all have one source. That is why he is not ashamed to call them brothers.” Hebrew 2:10-11

8 “See what kind of love the Father has given to us, that we should be called children of God; and so we are.

9 “But if some of the branches were broken off, and you, although a wild olive shoot, were grafted in among the others and now share in the nourishing root of the olive tree,…” Romans 11:17

10 “But to all who did receive him, who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God” John 1:12

11 “You have received the Spirit of adoption as sons, by whom we cry, ‘Abba! Father!’
Romans 8:15

12 “I will be a father to you, and you shall be sons and daughters to me, says the Lord Almighty.”
2 Corinthians 6:18

13 “See what kind of love the Father has given to us, that we should be called children of God; and so we are.

14 “That I may know him and the power of his resurrection, and may share his sufferings, becoming like him in his death.” Philippians 3:10

15 “For in this hope we were saved. Now hope that is seen is not hope
“For in this hope we were saved. Now hope that is seen is not hope. For who hopes for what he sees? 25 But if we hope for what we do not see, we wait for it with patience.” Romans 8:24-25

16 “Beloved, let us love one another, for love is from God, and whoever loves has been born of God and knows God.” 1 John 4:7
