3 THE CLASS RAPPRESENTATIVES
A key role in our school is carried out by class representatives. They act as a connection between pupils of each class and the school government. Each class has its own representatives (2 each). Representatives participate once a month to meetings with the Headmaster, during which they also receive communications for their class.

4 ENVIRONMENTAL TUTORING
This year class representatives play a major role as ecological tutors. This role is to remind pupils not to throw papers, snacks packages, etc. on the ground to make a better world, even in a small context! These actions can make the school a more pleasant place.

5 GENERAL ALERTS AND SCHOOL TRIPS MANAGEMENT
Class representatives collect and distribute alerts for pupils They also collect money for school trips and other activities All the documents are then delivered to the school Secretariat by means of the class Coordinating Teacher.

The Students Municipal Council is a city council formed by a group of children and teens who deal with the problems of their city and their school The legislative basis for such initiatives of political participation extended to children was established in 1997 A facilitator helps students to improve their social environment and their school A minimum budget is provided by the Municipality to sustain the Council’s activities

8 Election of the students municipal council
Students are elected among kids in primary school (last two years, age 9 – 10) and of lower secondary school (age 11 – 14) One councilor is elected for each class, by the expression of a single vote In case of a tie between several candidates, we proceed to the ballot The system, however, varies widely from municipality to municipality

9 Election of the students mayor
After the first stage of elections, the Council meets (usually after one or two weeks after the election) to elect the new students Mayor Applicants can have a brief talk to introduce themselves then voting process starts In case of a tie between two or more candidates, we proceed to the ballot The second candidate in the rank, is given the role of deputy of the Mayor

10 Term of office and removal from office
The Mayor is in charge for one year Depending on local regulations, the Mayor can remain in charge for two years In case the Mayor finishes school before the end of its term, the mandate is assigned to the deputy mayor, who becomes Mayor pending new elections
