This powerpoint can be used to support the teaching of ‘Number’ targeted towards the month age band.

2. Teaching tips:
This can be used for number recognition. Count with the children the numbers on the number line. Which number is missing? Can they write the missing number on their individual whiteboard? Check to see if they have written the correct numerals.
This can be used as a tool to assess whether the children can write their numerals correctly and understand simple place value.
