Alliteration Repeating the first sound of different words is alliteration. They also start with the same letter. Keeping animals in cages is cruel, calculating and corrupt!

Paint a Picture Create an image in your readers mind by painting them a picture of what you’re talking about. Imagine being locked behind bars 24 hours a day! This is exactly how animals in cages feel.

17 PERSUASIVE TECHNIQUE 5:
Emotive Language Like many persuasive techniques, emotive appeals aim to engage people’s feelings, not logic or reason. If a writer can manipulate a reader to feel a certain way, that reader should be more likely to agree with the writer’s overall argument. These poor, helpless children are forced to do hours of homework every night after long, hard days at school.

PERSUASIVE TECHNIQUE 6: Hyperbole and Exaggeration Use of exaggeration in your writing to persuade the reader. It involves forceful and overblown language to get the point across. After students complete mountains of worksheets at school they are forced to do thousands of difficult maths sums and hours and hours of reading for homework!

26 PERSUASIVE TECHNIQUE 8 Inclusive language This is writing that directly addresses the reader, either personally or as a member of a shared group. It involves personal pronouns – words like, us, we, you, our. Our world is at stake. If we don’t do something soon, we may lose some of the most incredible animals in the world due to global warming.
