HOW TO STUDY IN EXAMS Vijendra Singh (D. Phil.) Assistant Professor & Head Defence and Strategic Studies, Sakaldiha P. G. College, Sakaldiha Chandauli, U.P.

2 CHECK THE NECESSARY ITEMS– pen(one extra pen), pencil, scale, rubber, eraser, blade, sharpener, watch, money bag, a bottle of drinking water before leaving the room for examination. Don’t have unnecessary things as more than one extra pen, gagets, papers etc. Avoid unnecessary conversation with invigilator and other students

3 WRITING AND WRITING STYLE –Both are important factor to get good marks.
Many times marks depend on examiners mood. So, writing should be clear so that examiner can read answer book. Neat and clean answer book. Leave Proper margin on left hand side of pages and draw the margin line with pencil. Answers should be Precise, Concise, to the point.

4 TIGER TARGET STRATEGY Read the question paper, its directions and notes carefully and choose the questions to opt out. Eg- There are 10 questions in question paper. It is necessary to answer only 07 questions. Then we have to choose 07 questions out of 10 to answer. As- 10 questions are as Opted 07 questions are- 2, 3, 5, 6, 7, 8, 10

5 Many times, there are classification of questions. As-
Very short answer type questions Short answer type questions Long answer type questions First attempt Very short answer type questions, then Short answer type questions, and then Long answer type questions.

6 Ex.- 07 opted questions are- 2,3,5,6,7,8,10
First write down the answer of best prepared then better prepared questions. Ex.- 07 opted questions are- 2,3,5,6,7,8,10 Qu no. 5 & 7 are best prepared, so first attempt qu. no. 5 & 7 Qu no. 2 & 8 are better prepared, so attempt qu. no 2 & 8 after qu. no. 5 & 7 Then attempt qu. no. 3,6,10

7 Underline quotations and other important things
Diagrammes, Flow Charts, Figures and Tables are necessary to get good marks. Diagrammes should be labelled. To save time use some sort forms of words as- write Eg. not example.
