So what does all of this mean...?
16
How do I know what classes to take...
Course Selection is a Team Effort. Think about Interest and self-directedness Self-motivation, study, and time management skills Prior level of successful coursework completion BALANCE
17
Some things to Consider... Pre-AP/AP/Dual Credit Classes
TRUTHS FALLACIES I have the time and desire to take on more. I'm willing to go above and beyond. I have a pretty full plate, but I still have room for more. I'm highly interested in this subject area. I have a natural talent here. I have a growth mindset and want to approach this with grit. This is THE way to get into college. I'm brighter; I'm a rule-follower. I have to take advanced everything to be successful. My peers are, so I must. My parents expect me to. I can take all advanced classes, participate in extracurricular, volunteer/work, and be a healthy teenager.
