The Finnish Way to Digital TV DVB-T Conference, Lisbon, 17-18.2.2000, Esa Blomberg Main Goals: to compete with content and services - not with technology i.e. to build a uniform technical platform to customers on which to compete For a small market like Finland right timing and scale is essential: we cant lead the way, but we try to ride with the second wave when everything is ready, tested and affordable small markets need close co-operation: –between terrestrial and cable –public service and commercial companies –Finnish speakening majority and Swedish speakening minority –even between the hardest rivals!
