2 Session Objectives Identify possible on-ramps and off-ramps students may choose to reach career goals Be able to explain possible outcomes of diverse educational levels to students Provide subject matter expertise about potential transfer institutions and occupations

3 California Income Mobility
425,000 blue collar manufacturing jobs lost since 1990 The gap between the top 10% and the bottom 10% of families has doubled since 1980 The decline in median wages in California is 3x that of the US overall (Lipson & Stern, 2018)
