PASE yourself– it works! Learn how PASE (Purdue Alumni Student Experience) in just a few short years has become one of the largest student groups on Purdues West Lafayette campus, AND is a membership driven organization! Session will cover a broad overview that will include: 1 best practices lessons learned start up helpful hints marketing and promo examples successful and unsuccessful events student leadership structure the impact it has made on the alumni association.

5 Purdue Alumni Student Experience (PASE) PASE is the student membership of the Purdue Alumni Association and provides opportunities to: – Promote Purdue pride and tradition on campus – Cultivate relationships between students and alumni through networking opportunities – Enhance the college experience through fun, memorable events

Goal of PASE The goal for the program is to engage the students while theyre on campus, get them familiar with the alumni association, and then transition them into being active young alumni. 6

Is it worth it? Percent of young alumni that renew their Purdue Alumni membership after their gift membership expired: 4.75%- non-PASE 16% - PASE members 34% - PASE Board of Directors Data since PASE was established in 2005. 7

Is it worth it?….. YES! PASE is the largest student group on campus with over 3,400 members! 8

PASE Board of Directors 30 student leaders that plan and organize PASE events, other special events for students, and also educate PASE members about the Purdue Alumni Association. – Five committees: Sales & Marketing Networking Traditions PASE Events Advancement and Engagement 9

Cubs Game 28 New event in 2012 During Senior Week Got group tickets through Goose Island, where we will be having our pregame event Two options: o bus from campus, game ticket, and pregame event: $25 o ticket and pregame event only: $15 Sold out the bus in about a week, added a second bus and sold out second bus within 3 days We have invited officers from our club in Chicago to network Hope to make it an annual event
