Zur Abgaswärmerückgewinnung kann der UNIVERSAL UL-S als UL-S-IE mit integriertem Economiser ausgerüstet werden. Das Spiralrippenrohrbündel ist in der vergrößerten Abgaskammer untergebracht und bereits mit dem Kesseldruckkörper verbunden. Die Revisionsöffnungen am Flammrohrende und im Hinterboden unter dem Flammrohr bleiben frei zugänglich. Die Abgaskammer erhält eine zusätzliche Revisionsöffnung. Die preiswerteste Ausführung ist unabsperrbar mit dem Kesselkörper verbunden und hat keine Abgastemperaturregeleinrichtung. Sie ist geeignet für den Anschluss an feuchteunempfindliche Abgaswege und Kamine und wird bevorzugt für gasgefeuerte Kessel mit überwiegendem Dauerbetrieb. Das Ecorohrbündel kann auch absperrbar vom Druckkörper geliefert werden. Eine weitere Option ist die Abgastemperaturregeleinrichtung mit wasserseitigem Bypassregelventil. Diese Ausführung ist empfehlenswert, wenn der Kessel an einen feuchteempfindlichen Schornstein angeschlossen wird oder sehr häufig mit Speisewassertemperaturen unter 70 °C angefahren werden muss. _e
