1 Add a student to an activity
Some students will arrive in class later than expected or have transferred courses etc. These instructions are for tutors who need to add these students to an activity so that they can play. How to….. Add a student to an activity

2 Log in as the coordinator

3 Control Tower When logged in as the COORDINATOR. You will see the control tower which will show the LATEST ACTIVITIES for your module. Click onto the activity you want to allocate teams to e.g. HUA207TEAM for this example. The activity name shown here will look different on your Control Tower – this is simply an example.

4 Click on the activity Click on the activity you would like to add the student to.

5 Control Tower You’ll see this page in the control tower.
Click into TEAMS

6 Teams page On the LEFT hand side you will see a list of participants.
CLICK the participant’s user name you want to add to an activity. In this case it’s bbb5u189 On the RIGHT HAND SIDE in the TEAMS section. Scroll the page to find a spare game which does not have a team member assigned to it. Click on the PARTICIPANTS name IN THE LEFT HAND COLUMN. The Click GREEN SPOKES GAME 200 in this case on the RIGHT HAND SIDE. So now you’ll have a tick on the left hand side and a tick on the right hand side. Now click the ARROW in the middle which faces to the right. CLICK This will move the participant into the game. The next screen shows what happens.

7 This participant now has an activity
You will notice that bbbu189 had been moved to Game 200. This student is now ready to log in and play the activity. This process can be repeated as students join the module. Please make sure the student has completed the registration process.
