3 Abnormal Meiosis: There are genetic abnormalities that result from errors during meiosis Chromosomes do not separate properly during either anaphase I or II. So some gametes have too many or too few chromosomes Many of these gametes will die Some may live and have genetic disorders

4 Nondisjunction: Is when two homologous chromosomes move to the same pole during meiosis One cell gets both the homologous chromosomes and the other gets neither of these chromosomes The result is that all cells in this organism will have this abnormality.
