If one starts attending the .21 group for the first time at a Plenary Plenary Interim B- New Part. Aspirant Voter E- Nearly Voter B =Beginning E =End If one starts attending the .21 group for the first time at an Interim Interim Plenary B- New Part. Aspirant Nearly Voter Voter E- B =Beginning E =End

4 Voting Rights Earned by attending and participating in meetings for each session in progress. Two (2) types of meeting sessions Plenary:….3 sessions per calendar year (March, July, November) Organized by IEEE 802 Interim: .. Currently 3 sessions per calendar year (January, May, September) Organized by working group IEEE /15/16/18/19/20/21/22 either individually or together and may be sponsored by a host Voting rights can be earned by participation in 2 plenary sessions within 4 consecutive plenary sessions One (1) Interim session may be substituted for a plenary Definition of participation….. Must be present in at least 75% of ALL meetings in a session

IEEE Working Group (WG) Plenary Meetings Task Groups (TG) Meetings Must be present at a session to VOTE Participation in debates, Motion(s) moved, seconded is only permitted by VOTING members in ALL meetings However WG & TG Chairs may permit observers/attendees to participate in debates and discussions…. Study Groups (SG) Meetings In Study Groups ALL attendees have VOTING rights

6 WG Letter Ballot IEEE 802 Rules specify:
Working Group Membership shall be lost if two consecutive, or two of any three consecutive, Working Group letter ballots are not returned or are returned with an abstention other than for 'lack of technical expertise
