Note that when a low threshold is chosen, the raw glucose and glucose ratio perform similarly with high specificity for microbial cases but very low sensitivity. On the other hand, when a high threshold is chosen, the glucose ratio performs approximately 10% better than raw glucose in terms of sensitivity for equivalent specificity.
