7 I. Why do we serve one another?

a. Walk in the Spirit (v.16) – habitual lifestyle i. Go where the Spirit is going ii. Listen to His Voice iii. Discern His will iv. Follow His guidance b. Be Led by the Spirit (v.18)-results in righteous behavior and spiritual attitudes

Not just fellow Christians, Americans, families in our neighborhood, members of the same race, those that agree with us ii. Our neighbor includes the lost, the lonely, the needy, the least, the unlovable, the unlikely, the outcasts, even our enemies

13 “We are not to try and determine if someone is our neighbor
“We are not to try and determine if someone is our neighbor. We are to become a neighbor to everyone we encounter.”

14 “If you love, you will serve
“If you love, you will serve. As you serve others, you will restore them. Once restored, you will bear their burdens.”
