4. The County School Inspectorate is a local public authority, subordinated to the Ministry of Education, Research and Innovation.
The main aim is to implement at the local level the educational policy of the Ministry.

5. Main functions:
Coordinates the managerial activity of the county pre-university school network.
Providing the qualified teaching staff and personnel for the subordinate institutions.
Monitoring teaching staff and offering them counseling and support.
Assessing the correct implementation of the national curriculum.
Readjusting and adapting annually the educational offer of the county schools to meet the demands of the changing socio-economic realities.
To ensure, jointly with the local public administration, the educational conditions as well as the development of the material resources in schools.
