A new tech start-up with a mission to re-wire and re-invent in-home care for seniors to revolutionize care and other diseases
Led by an elite team of tech talent and backed by big Silicon Valley investors, matches seniors and families with care professionals in a way that is similar to other demand and supply, mobile tech companies like Uber, Lyft, and TaskRabbit. Care professionals provide scheduled or on-demand services
Goal is to help keep seniors (“our parents”) in their homes for as long as possible
Focus is to connect three parties: seniors, their families, and care professionals
Recruits, does in-depth screening of care professional; they become employees with benefits and equity.
April 2015: Piloted services in Contra Costa, California and later expanded to the San Francisco Bay Area.
2016: Expanded to Los Angeles and Dallas Fort Worth markets
2016: Announced unique licensing agreements with the American Cancer Society and the National Parkinson Foundation
January 2017: Began a partnership with the Alzheimer's Association
