Publicly available LEfSe visualization tools were used to generate these graphical outputs using BPA and control as class variables for colon, cecum, and fecal samples from offspring and fecal samples from dams separately. (A to D) Histogram of the linear discriminant analysis (LDA) scores calculated for features that were differentially abundant between BPA-treated and control rabbits. LDA scores that were elevated in control dams or offspring are shown in green, whereas LDA scores that were greater in BPA-treated dams or offspring are shown in red. Significant differences were identified by the use of the LEfSe algorithm with P < 0.05 for both the Kruskal-Wallis test and Wilcoxon test.
