5 What is a rock? Rocks can be classified by how they form:
A rock is a solid material from the Earth that is usually made up of one or more minerals…chocolate chip, monster, cookie. Rocks can be classified by how they form: -Igneous Rocks (“fire” “melted”) -Sedimentary Rocks (“layers”) -Metamorphic Rocks (“change”)
