Working proactively as a team, the Public Works Department strives to make life better for the residents of South Weber.

2 New Code Enforcement in Iworq
Complaint logged into the system & mapped Automatically assigned to appropriate staff Staff alerted to new complaint & follows through with initial inspection Warning letter issued – 14 days to comply before citation is issued 2nd Inspection If done, no citation issued If still exists, citation issued Provides a faster process Allows reports to be generated quickly and accurately Gives a visual of where the problem areas in the City are

5 New Water Meters New Meters were delivered on November 5th
We have every available Public Works Employee working to install new meters before the weather breaks This will make the meter reading process more efficient and more accurate

6 City Website Working on new Public Works Online Complaint Form
Will be promoted in January/February newsletter Will automatically create a work order on IWorq Will automatically send the resident a response stating that we received his/her complaint Resident will be able to track his/her complaint - will be notified via anytime something new is done to the case

7 Snow is Coming The street sweeper will be doing the last sweep of the year The trucks are in good shape Blades are on schedule to be ordered The salt is being delivered Bids collected, Bouchard’s trucking in the salt The sanders are oiled and ready Emergency Plowing Plan in place Local contractors have signed up to be called should the weather be too much for our resources Park and Ride bid awarded to Keith Kap & Sons They will be ready within 1 hour of receiving our call
