1 On this slide you can see the organisation structure.
All the Nadcap Task Groups report to the Nadcap Management Council. Task Group members are technical experts from Nadcap subscribers and suppliers who – together – establish and maintain the Nadcap audit checklists (pulling from industry specifications and standards as well as Prime requirements). The subscriber members have the additional responsibility of reviewing Nadcap audit reports and making the final decision on supplier accreditation. For reasons of confidentiality, suppliers only have access to their own company audit reports.

2 There are Nadcap Task Groups in operation for the special processes, systems and products shown on this slide. New Task Groups are formed when there is sufficient interest from industry. Initially, a sponsor company will approach the Nadcap Management Council with a request to form a new Task Group, detailing the industry need and scope of the new Task Group. This will be reviewed by the NMC to determine the level of interest and support from the Subscribers. A Subteam will be formed to continue the evaluation and finalize the scope and support (mandate and active participation) of the Subscribers. When the Subteam is ready, they will present their conclusions to the NMC for a decision to “launch”. At the Nadcap meeting in Berlin in June 2012, the NMC Globalization and Strategy Committee accepted the challenge of defining the process for raising growth opportunities as seen by industry and documenting this process into a new or existing Nadcap procedure so this will follow in due course. Measurement & Inspection is highlighted as it is the newest Task Group and was approved by the NMC at the October 2012 meeting.
