1 Correlation of E/e’ with age (A), gender (B), fasting insulin (C), and sulfonylurea use (SU) (D) among patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus. Correlation of E/e’ with age (A), gender (B), fasting insulin (C), and sulfonylurea use (SU) (D) among patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus. E/e’ was significantly correlated with patient age (p<0.001), gender (p<0.001), fasting plasma insulin concentration (p=0.025), and SU (p<0.001). Box plots show medians (black), 25th and 75th centiles (lower and upper limits of the box), and adjacent values (lower and upper whiskers). Tomoaki Inoue et al.
