MenC vaccines for infants under 1:
Primary vaccination with a single dose of vaccine must be given using NeisVac-C® or Menjugate® Kit
DO NOT USE MENINGITEC®
What if an infant under 1 year has been
given a single dose of Meningitec®?
Give one further dose of Meningitec® or Menjugate® Kit NO LESS than 1 month after the first dose
One dose of Meningitec® will not produce sufficient immunity in infants under 1
Which MenC vaccine products can be used for older children/adolescents?
Any product can be used, but to maintain stocks for the infant programme Meningitec® and Menjugate® Kit are preferred
