Automated System Test™ is the default selection in Diagnostic Menu. One button press and it will perform the test and report the data in a fraction of the time it used to take using manual, step by step procedures.

Scan Component Tests provides the technician with step by step test procedure to determine the route cause of the diagnostic trouble code. It includes how to test the sensors and actuator devices for proper Datastream performance and how to review everything from visual basics to a complete electrical systems test. Scan Component test will guide the technician through a complete set of test procedures from Datastream, to Bi-Directional tests, to electrical circuit testing using the scope and multimeter functions of the Genisys.
