5. Class Matters: “When the Joneses Wear Jeans” (p. 134-145)
Read the chapter, “When the Joneses Wear Jeans” (p )
What is the “problem” discussed? (State it clearly.) Is there a solution to the “problem”? If yes, what is it? If no, why not?
What is the author’s main argument?
How does she communicate that argument? (Pull in examples of ethos, pathos, logos from the chapter. You could make a chart…hint hint!)
