Let’s talk about STUDYING!
It’s that test again... Think of ways you can study. Know the verb forms (horrere “ to shudder” = abhor). Know every definition for each word. Use the Quizlet on my website under “Classical Roots.” Make & Use Flash Cards! Notice the similarities with words that relate to touch, all five senses, arguments, and sound. Really put effort into your Review Exercises. Practice using every word in a sentence (put on flash cards). Know every aspect: meaning, definition, root, verb forms

TEST CORRECTIONS #’s 1-5, 14-21
Write the CORRECT WORD in a sentence. You will only receive points IF the word is used in a context. #’s 6-9 Give a 2 sentence explanation WHY the word is the correct answer. Be specific, yet concise. #’s 10-13 Write a SYNONYM and ANTONYM for the example word pair AND the correct word pair.
