The Extension Center for Technology Outreach (CTO) at
Mississippi State University is offering a “chance of a lifetime” for
K-8th grade math teachers through IMPACT2.
Goals of IMPACT2:
Assist teachers in developing the in-depth
math content knowledge and instructional
methods necessary for increasing students’
achievement through the development of a
Professional Learning Community
Increase teachers’ knowledge and student
achievement using MCCRS Mathematical
Practices and instructional strategies
Provide K – 8th grade mathematics teachers
with opportunities to grow as professionals/
leaders
What will participants receive?
FREE 10 Continuing Education Units (CEUs)
Stipend for performance and attendance
$1,000 (distributed in two payments)
Summer Institute (All expenses paid!)
