4. Grammy Season The 1985 bears were a legacy; they went 15-1 in the regular season after a terrible start of 0-2 in the preseason. They only lost to one team, the Miami Dolphins. That season the bears went on to win the super bowl after setting an amazing record of not letting their opponents score a single point in the first two postseason games. They even had a music video that was nominated for a Grammy, as best R&B vocal performance by a duo or group. 5. Cardiac Bears The Bears had a terrible start in 1985. During the preseason they lost 3 out of 4 of their preseason games. They started their regular season barely winning their first 5 games. They were called the cardiac bears because out of those 5 games, they were loosing at half on four of them. Many people thought that they wasted their draft pick on William Perry because he wasnt doing very good at, yet during the regular season he was in at fullback and produced incredible results. They were so anxious to get to the playoffs they defeated the lions, cowboys, and the falcons for a total score of 104 to 3. 7. Sixteen and Zero Down The Drain The next week the Bears suffered their only loss. They were playin g the Miami Dolphins and the Bears were still undefeated. The bears lost that game 24-38 because the Miami Dolphins constantly beat the Bears blitz. The Bears were not put down; they finished the season by winning the last three games. 8. Post Season During the Postseason the Bears beat the New York Giants 21-0 with an amazing defense. They were sure they would go to the championship now but they didnt want to get to cocky. They dominantly defeated the Los Angeles Rams 24-0 with a defense even more amazing than the week before. The Bears were now in the Championship with the New England Patriots. They were down 3 to 0 at the beginning but they kept their spirits high. They went on scoring touchdown after touchdown uncontested. 9. Concluding The Season That year the bears had their best season in history. They were ranked in the top 5 top teams ever to exist. They won twelve straight games and had a terrible loss against the Miami Dolphins. They went on to finish the season fifteen and one with an amazing defense. They had a 6-4 defense, which is very strong against the run and it blitzes a lot. That was probably the best season the Chicago Bears have ever had. They have had over 21 quarterbacks since then.
