Stick them up high on your classroom wall before the lesson starts, to form the basis of your students’ timeline.
You will need a lot of space for this activity, preferably a full blank wall. If you are able to keep the timeline up throughout the scheme of work, so much the better, as it will be useful to return to it for context during future lessons.
