2 Progress on Specific Aims
Aim 1: Software Tools for Quantification of Craniofacial Anatomy - Lynn: fully automated tool for analysis of CT scans and production of the cranial image representation. - Jia: fully automated 3D landmark finder for 3D meshes. - Sara: - automated method for extracting the 3D contour of objects from microCT scans (chick and mice embryos). - Kasia/Ambar: Code repository being built and tested.

Code Repository 1. test code on Windows, Macintosh, and Unix systems 2. transfer heavily reused code into shared code library 3. place all code in SVN repository 4. provide online documentation using Doxygen 5. store executables in execution tree structure 6. provide command line calling structure for executables Aim 2: Similarity Measures - Indri: Quantification of bin-based representations through Genetic Programming and use of multiple GP results to represent a syndrome. Aim 3: Organization and Retrieval - Carrie, Michael, Kasia: design of SQL database schemas, which will eventually allow for retrievals based on both metadata and image similarity.
