2 Figure 1 Increased vascular permeability is visible in the angiogram as contrast agent leaks out of the vessels (arrowheads) in the gene transfer area. Also pericardial fluid is visible (asterisk). Capillaries are clearly enlarged at the gene transfer area when compared to control group (CD31 stain), and also demonstrate clear pericyte coverage (CD31/aSMA double immunostain).
