2 The purpose: to study the concept of healthy way of life.
Project problems: 1. To study concept of a healthy way of life and its components 2. To do questioning of pupils 3. To analyse results of the questionnaire and to make a conclusion.

3 And what is "health"? It is the lack of illnesses. It means that you enjoy your life, work well and are happy. So, health is the man`s greatest wealth. Of course you can inherit some health problems from your parents, but you can always keep your health if you want.

4 What does health depend on?
For a long time it is known that health of the person on 10-20 % depends on a heredity, 10-20 % from a state of environment, 8-12 % from level of public health services, 50-70 % from a way of life.

5 HEALTHY WAY OF LIFE The healthy way of life is a balanced diet, playing sports, observing daily routine, refusal of bad habits and many other things.

6 GOOD HABITS Many people nowadays think more about their health.
They eat a lot of low-fat food and more fibre. Some people have started counting calories they eat every day.

7 EATING HIGH FIBRE FOOD Cabbage may prevent the development of cancer.
Carrots are good for your eyesight. Onion is good for your nerves.

8 An apple a day keeps the doctor away

9 DRINKING MILK Milk strengthen your bones.
Milk is very good for children

10 SPORTS AND FITNESS Everyone should do morning exercises.
Sport must be regular in people’s life. Young people go in for sports more anxiously than adults.

11 BAD HABITS Obesity and physical inactivity are known from ancient times. More and more teenagers spend their free time watching TV, playing computer games and eating fast food.

12 SKIPPING BREAKFAST One in five 11-to16-year-olds skip breakfast.
Many eat only pizza, chips, crisps and cola for lunch. They don’t get enough iron.

13 SMOKING Smoking makes skin unhealthy and teeth yellow.
It causes blood and heart diseases. It should be banned in public places.

QUESTIONING The questioning of pupils was done at our school. The purpose of the questioning: to find out the attitude to a healthy way of life.
