In your One Note for today's starter you will write your name and the history/story of your name.

3. Naming practices in different cultures:
China- The reverse of our naming system; family name, given name, second given name
Iceland- Approved first name and then patriarchal last name (but not the same last name like us)
Bali- named for birth order
India- last names are indicators of caste system while first names are often family names handed down

A simple, universal method to name living organisms.
Why do we need it?
