1 ESTIMATION OF STRESS-STRAIN STATE OF TUBULAR EXPLOSION CHAMBERS
1 ESTIMATION OF STRESS-STRAIN STATE OF TUBULAR EXPLOSION CHAMBERS Dobrushin L.D., Brizgalin A.G, Cherkashin A.V. The Paton Electric Welding Institute, Ssang Keun Lee, Jung IL Kim, Gi Bong Kwak, Woo Chan Joo Global Auto Clad Co.

2 2 200 kg capacity chamber

3 3 50 kg capacity chamber

4 4 2,4 kg capacity chamber

5 5 Axial stresses at the central tube
Capacity of the chamber: 1 – 2,4 kg; 2 – 50 kg; 3 – 200 kg

6 6 Circular stresses at the central tube
Capacity of the chamber: 1 – 2,4 kg; 2 – 50 kg; 3 – 200 kg

7 7 Stresses at the joining elements
Capacity of the chamber: 1 – 2,4 kg; 2 – 50 kg; 3 – 200 kg

8 P ~ V σ < [σ] = σt, P – capacity of the chamber;
8 Criteria of modeling P ~ V σ < [σ] = σt, P – capacity of the chamber; V – internal volume of the chamber; σ – max dynamic stresses at the elements of the chamber; σt – yield point of the chamber steel; Dch – internal diameter of the chamber.

9 9 Conclusions The criteria of tubular explosion chamber modeling are elaborated. They allow to determine approximate parameters of chamber with new capacity. 2. The most loaded elements of tubular chamber are defined. 3. The strength of the chamber can be checked only by constant monitoring of the dynamic stresses at the most loaded elements at the time. A certain experience of such work is exist.
