Nasal intubation using the Pentax-AWS and a bougie. The tip of the Pentax-AWS blade is placed to the glottic side of the epiglottis (arrow), and under the direct view, the bougie (which has been passed through a nasal tube) is passed through the glottis and the tube is advanced over the bougie into the trachea.
