Then we are going to go pair up with a peer who wants to investigate the same question.

8. How to use cited evidence
First find the answers to your question using the resources that have been provided
1. Write your answer and then use the text evidence from the book or website.
If you are using a book: use quotation marks around the information from the book and in parenthesis type the page number.
Example: “Washington then retreated to an open meadow” (page 141).
If you are using a website: “ Washington longed to retire to his field at Mount Vernon” ( 11/25/2018).
