Pupils play in pairs. Tell the pupils…THIS IS NOT ABOUT GIVING TRUE ANSWERS, it’s a game to sink your partner’s 5 battleships before s/he sinks yours. In secret, draw 5 x boats on 5 x squares. Then try to predict your partner’s ship positions and sink the ships by saying a full sentence E.g.

Show how ‘dans mon village il y a un musée’ would not have sunk any ships…! But ‘Dans mon village il y a un stade.’ is a hit!
