6 Communication of the Network
Does the Network have a well-developed outreach plan that utilizes a broad mix of communication tools and is it being implemented? Does the Network use a range of tools to communicate the value of afterschool and does it frame that information for the appropriate constituencies and audiences as needed? What other tools should we be using? How can the Network develop a communication infrastructure that allows us to gather feedback and input on its work from the field of providers, parents, school leaders, and other constituencies? What systems or tools should be in place? Does the Network conduct events that foster awareness and engage community and state leaders? How has the Network built relationships with the media to publicize its work, raise awareness of afterschool, and support policy goals? What other strategies or partners can we use to strengthen these efforts?

10 What does it mean to be an OregonASK Partner?
It's important to connect work with schools and afterschool time for youth health/wellness/academic success/thriving communities/workforce development, etc… Synergy/ Networking/Advocacy Attending stakeholder meetings, having a voice in the decision making process, advocate for youth out of school programming with our networks and at a policy making/government level. We have access to a larger pool of shared resources that allows us to continue to improve and impact the youth and families we serve! Share best practices and be a support to increase afterschool options statewide. Team work, shared resources, maximize opportunities
