JobStreet Corporation Berhad (MESDAQ: JOBS)
What We Do JobStreet.com is an Online e-Recruitment Company. Alternative to traditional recruitment channel to Newspapers. Where We Operate Malaysia (1997) Singapore (1999) India (2000) Philippines (1999) Employee Strength Over 200 employees in 4 countries 30 person strong technical team in 2 offices (Cyberjaya and Penang) Over 15 servers in 2 data centers Before I start, can I have a show of hand those who have already used JS? Good, then I think we can skip this slide.. We help employers find staff and jobseeker find jobs by using the internet as the primary medium of communication. … Its better than newspaper in that it is a lot more interactive, faster, more convenient (can be targeted).. JobStreet actually started in Penang in 1995 as Malaysia Online. Because the MNC here wanted to attract jobseekers from overseas, we started posting jobs. In 1997, JobStreet was formed to focus on this business. In late 1999, we got venture capital money and we have been growing fast the last few years and just got listed in MESDAQ under the symbl: JOBS.

Suresh who is the VP of operations is also from MIT. Our other senior management all have strong experience in other good companies. Initially, it was only Mark who had to work really hard full time in JS while others are partime. Once we had VC money in late 1999, we manage to get more senior management on full time and bring the company to another level.
