Serial high-resolution computed tomography (HRCT) scans at the lung window from patient 4, who was treated with cladribine for progressive multisystem Langerhans cell histiocytosis. a, b) A predominant bullocystic pattern is observed in the lung bases. c, d) Six months after treatment began, there was a substantial reduction in the extent of cystic lung lesions. e, f) Four years after treatment, lung abnormalities regressed substantially, with only residual fibrocystic lesions in the left lung base.
