9 Statistics Statistics aren’t scary when they’re about you.
Instead of “Achieved revenue goals,” say, “Generated $10 million dollars revenue by…” Instead of “Safety is key,” say, “Went 125 days accident free.” Instead of “Met all sales goals,” say “Achieved personal sales goal 10 months in a row”

Send your resume as Microsoft Word or something similar. Label things simply: “Work Experience,” not “Career Achievements” or “Jobs I’ve Rocked” Order: Company Name, Title, Dates Eli Lilly and Company, Quality Control Technician, January, 2012 – March, 2015 NOT Quality Control Technician, Eli Lilly and Company, January, 2012 – March, 2015

12 Top Tips to Beating the ATS
Use both acronyms and spelled-out forms of titles/key names Pump your Objective full of the key words Watch Your Spelling

13 Resume Rookie Mistakes
Having an unprofessional address. (Same goes for your voice mail.) No more than two pages No need to put “References available upon request.” Obvious. Bullet points Spell check. You’re a professional blogger, not a professional booger. Don’t lie.
